A series of four digital books focused on the city of Los Angeles through four different lenses: history, food, sports, and cultural landmarks found throughout. Each book highlights three different aspects of each lens that are integral to the cultural identity of the city. Every place highlighted in these books are special to my father, who was born and raised in Los Angeles and worked as a public servant for the city for thirty-nine years. He poured his heart and soul into Los Angeles, and I believe that his understanding of the city captures the true essence of what began in 1781 as El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Ángeles.
